Alongside my own photography, I offer a small number of services for photographers who would like some help with their photography or post-processing. My approach is practical and informal, drawing on my own experience of making, editing and developing photographic work.

I provide Lightroom and Photoshop editing for photographers who would prefer to have their images edited for them. This can include individual photographs, batches of images or complete sets. I can work with an existing style or help develop an approach that gives a body of work greater consistency. 

My approach is considered and image-specific. Rather than applying a fixed look to everything, I work with the photograph and its existing character, making adjustments where they are needed. Editing can include exposure and tonal adjustments, colour and black & white conversion, local adjustments, dodging and burning, colour grading and final Photoshop finishing. 

The service is provided remotely, with images supplied digitally and finished files returned online.

I offer relaxed, one-to-one photography sessions for photographers who want to develop their photography, improve their way of seeing or get more from the equipment they already use. Sessions can cover composition, observation, working with light, camera technique, focal length, image selection and developing a personal approach to photography.

For photographers in North Wales, these sessions take the form of photographic walks in Llandudno and Conwy, using familiar surroundings to explore light, composition, observation and the process of finding photographs in everyday places. The sessions are informal and tailored to the individual. 

There is no fixed course or set syllabus – we concentrate on the areas you would most like to improve.

I also offer one-to-one tuition for photographers who would like to improve their Lightroom and Photoshop workflow and become more confident with their own post-processing. We can work through your own photographs, from the initial RAW file through to a finished image. 

Sessions can cover exposure and tonal adjustments, colour and black & white processing, local adjustments, dodging and burning, colour grading, Photoshop finishing and developing a consistent approach across a set of photographs. 

Post-processing tuition is available online or face-to-face in North Wales and the sessions are tailored to your existing knowledge. We focus only on the areas you would like to improve, rather than following a fixed course.
